It comes with many examples (a few of which I have discussed here) and talks about many of the tests and metrics that are important to good model formulation and evaluation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tmiponline.org\/Clearinghouse\/Items\/Travel_Model_Validation_and_Reasonableness_Checking_Manual_Second_Edition.aspx\">Travel Model Validation and Reasonability Checking Manual<\/a>. TMIP.<br \/>\nThis is a great resource of validation checking and what to look for in regards to reasonableness checking.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/onlinepubs.trb.org\/onlinepubs\/sr\/sr288.pdf\">Special Report 288: Metropolitan Travel Forecasting: Current Practice and Future Direction<\/a>. TRB.<br \/>\nThis is a critical look at many of the modeling techniques we hold dear to our hearts. \u00a0I&#8217;ve been tempted to re-read it and see if things are a little better now that it has been over 5 years since it was released.<\/p>\n<h2>On My To-Read List<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s11116-013-9497-y\">&#8220;Hubris or humility?
