\nThis is an excellent resource to self-teach multinomial and nested logit modeling. It comes with many examples (a few of which I have discussed here) and talks about many of the tests and metrics that are important to good model formulation and evaluation.<\/p>\n

Travel Model Validation and Reasonability Checking Manual<\/a>. TMIP.
\nThis is a great resource of validation checking and what to look for in regards to reasonableness checking.<\/p>\n

Special Report 288: Metropolitan Travel Forecasting: Current Practice and Future Direction<\/a>. TRB.
\nThis is a critical look at many of the modeling techniques we hold dear to our hearts. \u00a0I’ve been tempted to re-read it and see if things are a little better now that it has been over 5 years since it was released.<\/p>\n
